Internationally acclaimed cinematographer Jim has travelled the world shooting Feature Films, Commercials, Documentaries and Music Videos. Jim has been fortunate enough to work in many different cultures and for many emerging global markets, is competent in several languages and is readily adaptable to the most extreme environments.

Jim is experienced with all film technologies from the 35mm standard to all the newest methods of digital acquisition, post-production and distribution, including supervising the digital intermediates for three of the last theatrical feature releases. Jim is an accomplished underwater cinematographer with a full year of programming for Discovery Channel to his credit and has expertise working with animals in the wild.

Gucciardo is the first American cinematographer to be a registered worker at the legendary 'MOSFILM" studios in Moscow, Russia and has shot several films selected for competition at the annual Moscow International Film Festival and has been a consultant for the board of MIFF. Jim regularly serves as a juror for the Brooklyn International Film festival in New York City. His latest feature film "Romantik Komedi" was released in the February of 2010 and received very high critical acclaim as well as financial success. Jim is currently in production for "New York' da Bes Minare" ( "5 Minarets in New York"), a international action film set both in New York City and Istanbul, Turkey.
